Celebs honour Queen singer

freddie mercuryThe late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury has been riding high on the Twitter charts today … but why?
Kajstring24 speculates, “Freddie Mercury is trending, so one of 2 things could have happened. 1: he’s died. 2: he’s signed for Portsmouth.”
Well, it’s neither of those … I’ll let trudiescojesus explain, “Adam Lambert Praises Freddie Mercury, Says Music Today Lacks Flamboyant Male”
Ah, I see, so an American Idol contestant looks up to a real rockstar … hold the front page!  I thought silly season was meant to be over?
Nevertheless, the trend has attracted many a witticism, including stenotype’s classic, “The late Freddie Mercury trending on Twitter. A Kind of Magic, eh?”  Very good, well done.
And Paulsamityville sums it up for me, by stating, “Freddie Mercury is trending good finally someone who was immensely talented is getting talked about.”
Elsewhere, Priority Inbox is trending hard after Googleshow off their new email system … and by the sounds of things, it’s rather good.
Mashable say, “Gmail Priority Inbox Launches: Your E-mail Will Never Be the Same” and a similar sentiment from TechCrunch who tweet, “Gmail Priority Inbox Sorts Your Email For You. And It’s Fantastic.”
Scottschulthess pitches in with an excitable, “priority inbox is the new hotness” and tbrown sums things up by stating, “Gmail’s new Priority Inbox is awesome”
Great, well I’m glad that’s all sorted out.
Finally, a bit of sport for you as Carlton Cole hits the micro-blogging headlines with the news that “West Ham are considering an offer from Liverpool for Carlton Cole” … thanks to SkySportsLive for that.
Kingkenny_7 muses, “Having Carlton Cole as back up for Fernando Torres is like Brad Pitt having Anne Robinson as back up for Angelina Jolie.” And Liverpool_FC say, “Whoa there.. Ryan Babel + money for Carlton Cole?! Has Roy built up some big gangster debts in London he’s paying off?”
However, Rajkaria is sceptical about the whole business, tweeting, “Carlton Cole to Liverpool unlikely. Approach dismissed by West Ham United.

Queen’s ‘Live at Wembley’ Concert To Be Streamed

Freddie Mercury would have been 65-years-old September 5. To honor the deceased music icon, his band will stream “Queen Live at Wembley.”
Queen’s legendary concert will reportedly be streamed for two days beginning Monday on the band’s YouTube page, the show dates back to July 1986 when Queen played London’s Wembley arena for two back to back shows.
.
Mercury of the legendary band Queen, passed away in 1991,  at the age of 45, of a complication of AIDS. Mercury denied his illness to the press for many years, only offering a statement a day before he passed

away. His statement reportedly read:
http://www.discomuseum.net/images/FreddieMercuryDM.jpg
“Following the enormous conjecture in the press over the last two weeks, I wish to confirm that I have been tested HIV positive and have AIDS. I felt it correct to keep this information private to date to protect the privacy of those around me. However, the time has come now for my friends and fans around the world to know the truth and I hope that everyone will join with me, my doctors, and all those worldwide in the fight against this terrible disease. My privacy has always been very special to me and I am famous for my lack of interviews. Please understand this policy will continue.”
The band Queen first formed in 1971 in London. The band included Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon and Roger Taylor. With their release of albums Sheer Heart Attack and A Night at the Opera, they would become a household name around the globe and go on to release 18 number one albums and 18 number one singles. Some of their best known songs include “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions” from News of the World.

The One and Only QUEEN Is Back on September 5th
All hail Queen.

The compulsion to express one’s need to be understood is what propels the performer. Through masks, costumes, and characters, the stage becomes a magic carpet on which dreams become realities and realities become dreams.  Or as Michael Jackson sang, “the lie becomes the truth”. Which is the philosophy behind KATWALK. And Freddie Mercury embodied this.

Freddie Mercury, who would have turned 65 this September, influenced every stage drama Queen of today. And with the release of Queen’s 5 last albums this September, we’re compelled to put things in perspective.

When artists postulate on their harsh struggles (respect), recall the late and great singer-performer-songwriter Freddie Mercury, whose journey began when he was born a Parsi, Zorastrian in Zanzibar, Tanzania, moving to India then England as a teenager, and alas died of bronchopneumonia brought on by  AIDS 1991, one day after publicly acknowledging he had the disease. And in between became arguable the greatest rock singer, songwriter and performer of all time

Freddie Mercury Live at Wembley Honors Singer’s Birthday

Queen will celebrate what would have the 65th birthday of their late frontman Freddie Mercury on Monday by streaming their concert film Live at Wembley Stadium for free on YouTube. The concert movie, which documents the highlights of two concerts at the massive venue in London in 1986, features many of the band's best-known hits, such as "Bohemian Rhapsody," "We Will Rock You," "We Are the Champions," "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Crazy Little Thing Called Love." The concerts filmed for the movie were among the last the quartet ever played together.

Short Hair Is Fresh and Young

Remember the first time you saw women opting for shorter and shorter hair? I must confess it was like a revolution and surprise for me. It felt just like a breath of fresh air and a revolution from old conceptions between long hairs and a woman's beauty. Maybe we were getting used to very long hairs, in the 80's even men had long hairs, and it looked fashionable, irreverent and... well, not anymore. Back to our subject at hand: my question is "what is behind the attraction of short hair styles for women?"

Healthy and Beautiful

A beautiful short hair depends much if it is healthy and how it is taken care of. It may sound like short hairs are easier to care for, keep clean and arrange on a daily basis, just because they are short. But the attentions they require are the same as long hairs. Shorter hairs have more movement and they fit a personal image of someone who is energetic and full of life. In fact, it is all about how a short hair makes you feel. If you feel beautiful with shorter hair, more confident, then it will look beautiful.

Short hairs enhance your face features. Shorter hair styles will leave space to focus attention in your face. A careful combination of make-up to enhance your eyes, lips, tone of skin and overall face structure, and your short hair, will knock out anyone that comes across you. Above all, it will free your emotions and the way your face transmits them, there are no long tresses of hair to hide a beautiful smile or a sassy look.

Short To Long in Minutes

Short hair styles also have an advantage that has been gaining momentum lately, the use of accessories like hair extensions, fake pony tails and colorful wigs. There is so much versatility behind the usage of accessories with a short hair, that one day you can be this long hair, "red carpet" looking women, and the next day you are a young, "on the go" women with short hair. The options are endless and can dazzle and bedazzle whoever dares to lay their eyes on you.

Not only accessories can help you achieve the look you want, but also some tools are indispensable to have in your bathroom closet. Ceramic flat irons, they are easy and safe to use, with the necessary cautions, and can straighten your hair in a few minutes. A good comb or brush is essential to brush your hair and lead it to where you want it. For shorter hairs it is good to buy one with longer bristles, they will help stimulate your scalp and distribute the natural oils. You can buy a couple of colorful wigs, wear them to match you personal mood for that day: darker for emotional, lighter for happy moods and bright green just for the fun of wearing it.

There are lots of advantages to have short hair, but the most important is that it will make you feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. Short hair styles are an expression of freedom from old concepts of beauty; they are also an expression a woman's affirmation of her inner "femme fatale".

Lydia Meternick has a wide scope of interest but the topics she finds most interesting are hair and skin. Her latest blog is about dandruff shampoo and the treatment of scalp and hair without harmful substances.

Kids love to have long hair to boast amongst their friends but maintaining the long hair is a difficult task for all mothers. Hair styles for kids should be short and manageable. -Bob cut is a common hairstyle among girls. It goes well with all types of hair and easy to manage. Accessories like hair bands, ribbons, clips, ponytails and barrettes can be tried to get a different look.

-Pixie cut is a tomboyish haircut which is easy to manage. All it requires is a gel to set it.
