Wilde was born in Basingstoke, Hampshire, U.K. She is descended from the aristocratic Gough-Calthorpe family. Short Bio: Taylor Quinn Cole (born April 29, 1984) is an American actress and former fashion model. Cole was born in Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas. Cole attended Mirabeau B. Lamar High School where she traveled with the Junior Olympics volleyball squad. It was also in high school she got her start as a model. After visiting her mother, Deborah Quinn, and stepfather, actor Shawn Christian (parents of her half-brother Kameron Christian), Cole landed an audition for the now-defunct WB show Summerland. She played the role of Mia Jones, the single teenage mother, on Degrassi: The Next Generation, from the show's sixth to ninth season. She currently stars as Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce on The CW American television teen drama, The Vampire Diaries. While working on the show, Dobrev began dating her Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder. Dobrev was arrested for disorderly conduct on August 22, 2009 in Smarr, Georgia for loitering on a bridge during a photo shoot with Candice Accola, Sara Canning, Kayla Ewell and photographer Tyler Shields.
